Anomotodon sheppeyensis
Taxonomy
Oxyrhina sheppeyensis was named by Cassier (1966). Its type specimen is BMNH P 30804, a set of teeth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Isle of Sheppey (BMNH collection), which is in a Ypresian marine claystone in the London Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Anomotodon sheppeyensis by Popov and Lopyrev (2024).
