Taxonomy
Modiomorpha herculi was named by Bradshaw and McCartan (1991) [As Modiomorphora, this is clearly a lapsus.]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is USNM398364. Its type locality is USNW 20000, Treves Butte, Antartica, which is in a Devonian marine horizon in Antarctica.
