Pinnatoolithus shitangensis
Taxonomy
Pinnatoolithus shitangensis was named by Fang et al. (2009). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is 90N-ST, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shitang, Nanxiong, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Yuanpu Formation of China. It is the type species of Pinnatoolithus.
