Chorephialtites longispinus
Taxonomy
Chorephialtites longispinus was named by Jia et al. (2025). Its type specimen is NIGP LBSH 02292, an exoskeleton (forewing), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Jianshangou Bed (NIGP collection), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Chorephialtites.
