Taxonomy
Aldanella patelliformis was named by Bokova (1990) [given as A. patelliforma in the original Russian publication/]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Selinde River near May-Kyuyel, which is in a Tommotian marine horizon in the Pestrotsvetnaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
