Anisotechnophorus nuculitiformis
Taxonomy
Ribeiria nuculitiformis was named by Cleland (1900) [Ribeiria(?) nuculitiformis Cleland 1900]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Bed VI 3, Quarry by railroad track, Fort Hunter hamlet, Florida, which is in a Gasconadian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Tribes Hill Formation of New York. It is the type species of Anisotechnophorus.
It was recombined as Anisotechnophorus nuculitiformis by Pojeta and Runnegar (1976), Wagner (2023).
