Elversella rugosa
Taxonomy
Elversella rugosa was named by McRoberts and Newell (2001). Its type specimen is USNM 431325, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM702d, Hill 5725, Glass Mountains, which is in a Kungurian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Hess Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Elversella.
