Dendroolithus verrucarius
Taxonomy
Dendroolithus verrucarius was named by Mikhaillov (1994). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is PIN 3142-454, an egg, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khermin Tsav, Upper White Beds [SMPE] (PIN coll. 3142), which is in a Maastrichtian eolian horizon in the Nemegt Formation of Mongolia.
