Tumidocarcinus giganteus
Taxonomy
Tumidocarcinus giganteus was named by Glaessner (1960). Its type specimen is NZGS DC 181, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tangarakau River Gorge, which is in a Miocene/Miocene marine horizon in New Zealand.
