Priscomyzon riniensis
Taxonomy
Priscomyzon riniensis was named by Gess et al. (2006). Its type specimen is AM5750, a skeleton, and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Waterloo Farm, which is in a Famennian lagoonal shale/sandstone in the Witpoort Formation of South Africa. It is the type species of Priscomyzon.
