Bedenomeryx truyolsi was named by Ginsburg et al. (1994). It is not extant. Its type specimen is MNCN CT-165, a mandible (sin. with p1-m3). Its type locality is Cetina de Aragon, which is in a MN 2 terrestrial conglomerate in Spain.
