Arca (Anadara) santana was named by Loel and Corey (1932) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Miocene; California.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Anadara (Larkinia) santana by Reinhart (1943); it was recombined as Larkinia santana by Moore (1983); it was recombined as Anadara santana by Hendy (2020).
