Ancilla gabbi was named by Cossman (1899).

It was recombined as Ancilla (Spirancilla) gabbi by Squires (1984).

Synonyms
  • Ancillaria elongata was named by Gabb (1864). Its type specimen is Holotype lost; UCMP 12521 (syntype) and is a 3D body fossil.

    It was replaced with Ancilla gabbi by Cossman (1899).
