Taxonomy
Ancillotoechia perryi was named by Sheehan (1982). Its type specimen is USNM 219676 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM loc. 19324, Tony Grove Lake, which is in a Telychian/Wenlock deep subtidal shelf dolomite in the Laketown Dolomite Formation of Utah.
