Babinops planiventer
Taxonomy
Babinops planiventer was named by Feist and Becker (1997). Its type specimen is GSWA- F49810, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beds 2C - 3D. Ant Hill, near Bob's Bore in Virgin Hills, which is in a Famennian/Famennian reef, buildup or bioherm sandstone in the Virgin Hills Formation of Australia.
