Taxonomy
Bathyuriscus terranovensis was named by Young and Ludvigsen (1989). Its type specimen is GSC 77340, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kindle boulder #357, B Biofacies, Downes Point Mb, - Young and Ludvigsen 1989, which is in a Solvan slope packstone/wackestone in the Shallow Bay Formation of Canada.
