Taxonomy
Diplomoceras jimboi was named by Anderson (1958). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS Loc. 29656 - Ortigalita Creek [Moreno Fm], which is in a Maastrichtian marine sandstone in the Moreno Formation of California.
