Taxonomy
Ectocentrites thibaudi was named by Meister et al. (2010). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NC11. Its type locality is Coast of Baie Inaccessible, locality f499, bed 634a, which is in a Hettangian slope sandstone/tuff in the Bouraké B Formation of New Caledonia.
