S. M. Pohler 2002(after LECOMPTE1939): A species of Favosites with subhemispherical coralla and corallites attaining up to 2 mm in diameter. Wall thickness is between 0.14-0.20 mm or more. Mural pores are numerous and arranged mostly in uniserial, rarely in biserial rows. Their diam- eter varies from 0.25-0.35 mm and reaches up to 0.40 mm. Tabulae are numerous and of variable shape, spaced 0.7-0.8 mm apart, (12-14/cm). Septal spines are absent.
