Geragnostus boutouryensis

Geragnostus boutouryensis was named by Howell (1935) [= Geragnostus occitanus Howell, 1935, p. 231 [partim], pl. 23, fig. 5
(only); Thoral, 1935, p. 215 [partim]; Dean, 1966, p. 274–279 [partim], pl. 1, figs. 1–12; pl. 2, figs. 1–3 (only); Bérard, 1986, p. 20-23, pl. 1, figs. 1, 5, 9.
Geragnostus occitanicus (sic) Howell. Pillet in Capéra, Courtessole & Pillet 1978, p. 80–82 [partim], pl. 5, figs. 5–7 (only), 10 (inverted cephalon), 14; pl. 7, fig. 9 (only).]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Boutoury near Cabrieres, which is in an Arenigian marine shale in the Landeyran Formation of France.
