Globator boehmi was named by Nietsch (1921).

It was recombined as Adelopneustes boehmi by Smith and Jeffery (2000) and Kroh (2001).

Globator ravni was named by Bruennich (1926). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Harbour, North Saltholm, which is in a Danian coastal packstone in Denmark.

It was synonymized subjectively with Adelopneustes boehmi by Kroh (2001).
Pygorhynchus ovalis was named by Smiser (1935).

It was recombined as Pygopyrina ovalis by van der Ham (1987); it was synonymized subjectively with Adelopneustes boehmi by Kroh (2001).
