Globigerina ciperoensis angulisuturalis was named by Bolli (1957).
It was recombined as Paragloborotalia angulisuturalis by Cifelli (1982); it was recombined as Globigerina (Globigerina) angulisuturalis by Kennett and Srinivasan (1983); it was recombined as Globoturborotalita angulisuturalis by Baldassini et al. (2013); it was recombined as Ciperoella angulisuturalis by Olsson et al. (2018).

Wall calcareous, perforate, surface very finely pitted. Chambers spherical; about 10, arranged in 2 to 2 1/2 whorls; the 5 chambers of the last whorl increase moderately in size.
