It was recombined as Globigerina tapuriensis by Blow (1969); it was recombined as Globoquadrina tripartita tapuriensis by Fleisher (1974); it was recombined as Globoquadrina tapuriensis by Li et al. (2005); it was recombined as Dentoglobigerina tapuriensis by Wade et al. (2018).
