Chirinocarcinus wichmanni

Taxonomy
Glyphithyreus wichmanni was named by Feldmann et al. (1995). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is General Roca, which is in a Danian deep subtidal ramp marl in the Roca Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Chirinocarcinus.

It was recombined as Chirinocarcinus wichmanni by Schweitzer et al. (2010) and Schweitzer et al. (2022).
