Taxonomy
Argobuccinum dilleri was named by Anderson and Martin (1914). Its type specimen is CAS 152 and is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Ranella dilleri by Grant and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Gyrineum dilleri by Moore (1963); it was recombined as Mediargo dilleri by Addicott (1970).
