Birostrina coptensis

Taxonomy
Inoceramus coptensis was named by Casey (1961). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is ACAR, Atherfield Point [Carstone Mbr, Lower Greensand], which is in an Albian marine sandstone in the Monk’s Bay Sandstone Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Birostrina coptensis by Cooper (1982).
