Lilloettia boesei

Taxonomy
Macrocephalites boesei was named by Burckhardt (1927). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UNAM 1925a, a partial shell (Complete macroconch). Its type locality is Arroyo El Rincon, El Cuahulote - Tecojcoyunca Rd, which is in a Bathonian/Callovian marine horizon in the Yucunuti Formation of Mexico.

It was recombined as Eurycephalites boesei by Spath (1932); it was recombined as Lilloettia boesei by Sandoval et al. (1990) and Westermann and Hudson (1991).
