Lyreidus waitakiensis
Taxonomy
Lyreidus waitakiensis was named by Glaessner (1980). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Black Point, Waitaki Valley, which is in an Eocene/Eocene marine sandstone in the Tapui Formation of New Zealand.
It was recombined as Lyreidus (Lysirude) waitakiensis by Feldmann (1992).
