Taxonomy
Maladioidella doylei was named by Shergold (1980). Its type specimen is CPC 15266, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lily Creek Section B54a, which is in an Iverian open shallow subtidal grainstone/lime mudstone in the Chatsworth Formation of Australia.
