Neseuretinus birmanicus
Taxonomy
Calymene birmanica was named by Reed (1906). Its type specimen is GSI 8341, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Synhomalonotus birmanicus by Kobayashi (1960); it was recombined as Diacalymene birmanica by Pillet and de Lapparent (1969); it was corrected as Calymene birmanicus by Banks (1988); it was recombined as Neseuretus birmanicus by Cocks and Zhan (1998); it was recombined as Neseuretus birmanica by Turvey and Siveter (2007); it was recombined as Neseuretinus birmanicus by Turvey (2005) and Ghobadi Pour and Popov (2009).
