Notonucula demissa

Taxonomy
Notonucula demissa was named by Bradshaw and McCartan (1991) [= 1965 Nuculoidea musculosa Knod; McAlester, p. 262-3, pl. 9, figs 1-18.]. Its type specimen is USNM 145427 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Horlick Formation lithofacies 7, which is in a Devonian marine sandstone/mudstone in the Horlick Formation of Antarctica.
