Taxonomy
Oklahomacystis trigonis was named by Guensburg (1984). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loc. Z-654a. Highway cut, mile 43 on Interstate 65 appx 12 km ESE of Columbia, which is in a Blackriveran deep subtidal shelf shale in the Lebanon Limestone Formation of Tennessee.
