Taxonomy
Palaeocardita stoecklini was named by Hautmann (2001). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Profil Parvadeh II, Bidestan Member, PAR-II 126,5m, which is in a Sevatian marine coal in the Nayband Formation of Iran.
