Taxonomy
Paradiscoceras dissitum was named by Stait et al. (1985). Its type specimen is SUP34814 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is L134. East of Fossil Hill, near Cliefden Caves, which is in an Eastonian shallow subtidal limestone in the Fossil Hill Limestone Formation of Australia.
