Taxonomy
Phillibole conkini was named by Hessler (1963) [= Phillipsia Tennesseensis (part) Winchell, 1869, p. 445; Winchell, 1871, p. 259. = Proetus tennesseensis (part) Vogdes, 1887, p. 80]. Its type specimen is U.C. 51907 and is a 3D body fossil.
