Ticinites ticinensis

Taxonomy
Ticinites ticinensis was named by Rieber (1973). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Point 902, Monte San Giorgio, Bed 58, which is in an Illyrian marine dolomite in the Besano Formation of Switzerland. It is the type species of Ticinites.
