Taxonomy
Turris packardi was named by Weaver (1916). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Galvin Station, which is in a Chattian offshore sandstone in the Lincoln Creek Formation of Washington.
It was recombined as Aforia packardi by Durham (1944); it was recombined as Turrinosyrinx packardi by Hickman (1976) and Hickman (1980).
