Uddenoceras oweni
Taxonomy
Uddenites oweni was named by Miller and Furnish (1940). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Clay Slide, Glass Mountains (John Britts Owen collection), which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Cathedral Mountain Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Uddenoceras.
It was recombined as Uddenoceras oweni by Furnish et al. (2009).
