Kashmirites nivalis
Taxonomy
Danubites nivalis was named by Diener (1897). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is South of Muth (subrobustus Zone), which is in a Spathian marine horizon in India. It is the type species of Anakashmirites.
It was recombined as Xenodiscus nivalis by Welter (1922); it was recombined as Anakashmirites nivalis by Spath (1934) and Kummel (1969); it was recombined as Kashmirites nivalis by Brühwiler et al. (2012) and Brühwiler and Bucher (2012).
