Afrocardium infantule

Bivalvia - Cardiida - Cardiidae

Taxonomy
Cardium (Trachycardium) infantule was named by Nomura and Zinbo (1934). It is extant. Its type locality is Kikai Island, Kamikatetsu, reef molluscs, which is in a Pleistocene reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in Japan.

It was recombined as Afrocardium infantule by Schneider (2002).
