Taxonomy
Pecten (Chlamys) imbricatus mildredae was named by Bayer (1941) [DISTRIBUTION: Recent; Florida.]. It is extant. Its type specimen is USNM 598977, a shell.

It was recombined as Pecten (Chlamys) mildredae by Bayer (1943); it was recombined as Chlamys mildredae by Abbott (1954); it was recombined as Caribachlamys mildredae by Waller (1993).
