Cytherea (Dione) indistincta was named by Martin (1879) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene; Indonesia.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Joannisiella indistincta by Oostingh (1935); it was recombined as Cycladicama indistincta by Skwarko (1994).
