Pappocricetodon kazakstanicus
Taxonomy
Pappocricetodon kazakstanicus was named by Emry et al. (1998). Its type specimen is IZ-NAS-RK-KI 34/249, a tooth (Right M1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shinzhaly K1A and K1B, which is in an Irdinmanhan terrestrial mudstone in the Kolpak Formation of Kazakhstan.
