Chaprongictis phetchaburiensis

Taxonomy
Chaprongictis phetchaburiensis was named by Peigné et al. (2006). Its type specimen is SHM-CP 409 and 410, a mandible (fragmentary mandible with p4-m1 on the left side, and c, p3-m1 on the right side), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cha Prong Pit, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone/lignite in Thailand. It is the type species of Chaprongictis.
