It was reranked as Amaea (Littoriniscala) by Darragh and Kendrick (1994); it was reranked as Epitonium (Littoriniscala) by Pacaud and Le Renard (1995); it was misspelled as Littorniscala by Sepkoski (2002) and Schnetler and Heilmann-Clausen (2011).
