Limeryx chimaera
Taxonomy
Limeryx chimaera was named by Metais et al. (2005). Its type specimen is IVPP V12760.1, a tooth (isolated left M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shanghuang Quarry, fissure D, which is in an Eocene fissure fill limestone in China. It is the type species of Limeryx.
