Hilalia saribeya

Taxonomy
Hilalia saribeya was named by Maas et al. (2001). Its type specimen is AK95-50, a partial skull (partial skull orbit), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Haymana Basin, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Uzunçarşıdere Formation of Turkey. It is the type species of Hilalia.
