Vectipithex quaylei

Taxonomy
Nannopithex quaylei was named by Hooker (1986). Its type specimen is NHMUK M37145, a tooth (left M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Creechbarrow Hill, which is in a Bartonian marine marl/marl in the Creechbarrow Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Vectipithex quaylei by Hooker and Harrison (2008).
