Pradesura jacobi
Taxonomy
Palaeura jacobi was named by Thoral (1935). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UMC−IP, Lectotype 139. Its type locality is Layer F, Saint-Chinian, Montagne Noire, which is in a Tremadocian deep subtidal shelf claystone/siltstone in the Saint-Chinian Formation of France. It is the type species of Pradesura.
It was recombined as Pradesura jacobi by Spencer (1951), Owen (1965), Spencer and Wright (1966) and Dean Shackleton (2005).
