Taxonomy
Turritella unisulcata was named by Lamarck (1804) [DISTRIBUTION: Paleogene; Europe.]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grignon (Defrance collection), which is in a Lutetian open shallow subtidal sandstone/sandstone in France.

It was recombined as Turritella (Haustator) unisulcata by Cossmann and Pissarro (1910); it was recombined as Haustator unisulcata by Le Renard (1986).
